My background has been concentrated around preparing myself to become an cross-functional data analyst. After I graduated from my bachelor degree at Huazhong University of Science and Technology, I worked at China Building Materials Academy, and had experiences in marketing analysis, financial analysis, accounting, and research project management. Currently, I finished all my coursework in the master degree program of Economic Data Analysis at the University of Cincinnati. both my education and working experiences have prepared me well for the career as a profesional data analyst.

I would like to be working for an excellent company or institution in which I can contribute my analytical skills and talent, passion to work and teamwork ability to solve challenging issues faced on profit and non-profit organizations.

Personal Profile:

I am analytical, detail-oriented and hard-working with hands-on statistical analysis experience and excellent academic merit in a graduate program of economic data analysis. I offer significant analytical and statistical ability and skills with experiences in data cleaning and manipulating, modeling and forecasting, as well as data documentation maintaining and reporting.

I have good interpersonal and communication skills, flexible and able to participate in a broad range of roles either in a team environment or independently. I am self-motivated to work creatively with critical thinking and reasoning skills, I am also a self-manager, quick learner and able to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

. Market research Project (04/04-06/03) 
1. Teamwork project "Survey on a New International Dining Hall in UC Campus"
2. Case Study: An e-commerce Strategy Case for Trevor's Toys, Inc. 
Responsibilities: (1) Designed and conducted focus group session and survey interviews. (2) Collected, manipulated and analyzed data using SPSS and Excel. (3) Interpreted findings and implications, prepared final report and presentation and delivered recommendations.

. Multivariate analysis project (04/03-06/03) 
Two-Group Discriminant Analysis of Mass Transportation Data 
Responsibilities: (1)Performed cluster analysis to classify two segments using SAS. (2) Identified the important discriminators in the discriminant function. (3) Evaluated the discriminant function using the cross-validation method. (4) Discussed accuracy of the classification.

. Econometric analysis projects (04/03-12/03) 
1. The COMAIR strike impact on the northern Kentucky region in terms of jobs lost 
2. The employment structure, trend and forecasting in Cincinnati PMSA 
3. Modeling and forecasting demand deposits at US commercial banks 
Responsibilities: (1) Prepared required data by searching internet and library resources. (2) Identified stationarity, determine the order of Integration. (3) Tested for heteroscedasticity, multicollinearity, cointegration, serial correlation, structural breaks and Granger causality. (4) Created ARMA, VAR and VECM models and estimated parameters. (5) Selected best model based on certain criteria, considering DGP, economic theory, statistic measures (AIC, BIC, RMSE, R-square, DW etc.). (6) Performed In-sample and out-sample forecasting, summarized findings, interpreted implications and gave presentations. (Software used: SAS and EVIEWS).

. Decision model project (09/02-12/02) 
Study of Decision Modeling - Optimal Manpower Planning 
Responsibilities: (1) Simplified manpower relocation problems and specified company policy, model controllable factors, uncontrollable factors and constraints. (2) Built Excel model using Solver, Simulate model using Crystal Ball. (3) Summarized findings, discussed model applicability and limitations, and made recommendations.
